And from the house of the Maestro Giacomo Puccini, in Torre del Lago, he talks about the most important research and applications of robotics in the sectors that are already changing our lives and an unprecedented event, September 29 at 9 PM at the Teatro Pucciniano, entitled ” ROBOTopera “. The words of the technical commissioner, current coach of the Chinese national team, and some anticipations of the program.
PISA, 6 July. The coach of Italy, world champion, coach Marcello Lippi, is the first testimonial of the International Robotics Festival 2018. Viareggino doc, an inimitable career with Juventus, the current experience on the bench of China, his passions for the sea and the music but, above all, the soul of the 2006 National Team: these, in short, the deeds of the beloved coach who lends his face to announce to the whole world the second edition of the International Robotics Festival, scheduled from September 27 to 3 October, also directed this year by Professor Franco Mosca. An edition that promises to be full of surprises, starting with the extension of its borders that, for the first time, will touch new and evocative places. In fact, only Pisa will become “RoboTown”, the city of robots, because other beautiful locations will be involved. First of all the Versilia which, on September 29th at 9 pm in the context of the Puccini Festival, will open the curtain of the Grand Theater All’Aperto Puccini, on “ROBOTopera”, the spectacle of the Maestro and composer Girolamo Deraco. In reality it is already a while that we see each other … “. Industry, production, medicine, engineering, economy, social, architecture, boating and cultural heritage: these will not only be the protagonists of the 2018 edition that will see unprecedented cultural and artistic events. Among these, besides the ROBOT opera at the Teatro Pucciniano of Torre del Lago, the highlight and final event, on October 3, at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa with the internationally renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli. “As artistic director of the Festival – actor Renato Raimo intervenes – I was also entrusted with the task of creativity and direction of promotional spots that will see, among others, the participation of two very important testimonials such as Marcello Lippi and Andrea Bocelli . At the moment we have finished the spot of the coach to which my compliments go for the ease shown in front of the camera. Mister Lippi has confirmed, also in this circumstance, a great charisma and, in a few clauses, he showed himself perfectly at ease in the frame of his beloved Versilia. For me it was an honor to direct it “. The second edition of the Festival also presents a cultural program with concerts, shows and a special eye for the cinema, proposing the new “Pisa Robot Film Festival”, a review to find out how strong is the link between the world of celluloid and that of robotics.
