Arch. Maria Elena Corrado, Pisa (I)
Working in the management of the emergency caused by earthquakes in Central Italy on cultural heritage, various critical issues emerged that could be addressed with the help of new technologies and robotics. The example of the Artek project (“satellite services enabled for the conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage”) shows how it is possible to create effective and interdisciplinary forms of collaboration between two fields that seem so distant from each other.

Dott. Vincenzo Zuccaro, Caserta (I)

The object of the relationship is the use of new communication tools: social networks and interactivity to improve the relationship with the public and the image of the museum.
“Borbot” is the first virtual assistant applied to an Italian cultural site. The name derives from the crasis between Borbone and Robot and represents a prototype of Artificial Intelligence, a small man with a king’s crown and mantle, created by a start-up, the “360open” founded in 2015 by four young residents in Caserta. The idea behind “Borbot” is very simple: most of the questions that are directed to the chats of a Monument’s Facebook pages are repeated every day and the virtual assistant of the Palace has been designed and programmed to manage customer engagement, providing front-office support in the management of relational dynamics with the customers of a museum
