MY FIRST ROBOTIC HAND
WORKSHOP – EDUCATIONAL ROBOTIC LABORATORY (8- 13 years) Time: 10-12 and 16-18

Robotics is particularly suited to support the teaching of STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and math) and coding. Thanks to its multidisciplinary nature, it also allows the creation of many links with humanistic subjects like art, literature and theatre. Educational Robotics is a strategic method to develop the aptitude for ‘problem solving’, encourage creativity and promote the teamwork, through a ‘learning by doing’ approach. Robotics workshops have the purpose to familiarize the youngsters with science and technology in an amusing way, in an informal learning context. All the workshops are run by qualified professionals in the field of educational robotics.
GREAT Robotics proposes the following educational robotic laboratory.
My first robotic hand (ages 8-13)
Engineer for a day … me too, I can create my robot! Tinkering Laboratory: Through the use of poor materials and so much creativity we will try to invent new robots: a hand that moves its fingers, a machine that vibrates and moves alone, strange mechanisms and funny robots to invent. A laboratory dedicated to creativity and concepts such as levers, engines and mechanisms to play invent and design.
The lab is conducted by qualified professionals in the field of educational robotics who collaborate with the Institute of BioRobotics of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies
